Friday, March 17, 2023 is team check-in and model (practice) course day. Teams will be able to turn in required race safety brief and pickup last minute race information, runner bibs, event t-shirts, etc. Team may utilize the NNOC 2023 model course to familiarize themselves with the terrain.
Friday, March 17, 2023 - Team Check-in and Model Course Day
Friday is model course day where cadets (and instructors) may visit terrain similar to that they will experience during the actual championship. Model course map is provided below.
Teams may review model course at their leisure. Only a few model course maps will be available onsite. Teams should print their own course maps and bring with them (bring plastic map bags as well in case of rain). E-sticks are not needed for the practice event as there will not be any control boxes, simply control markers for runners to visit. Note map for points that may be visited (or skipped) based on skill level of each runner. Map safety bearing is clearly labeled on map, as are the "What3Words" for those who desire the utilize this downloadable App for safety purposes.
